nd so here we are again…
Another Wedge week has crept upon us, Captain Waud of Walton and Captain Hedges of RCP have picked their gallant soldiers to try and take the most coveted prize in golf – The Wedge Trophy.
Walton confident at 4 nil up in the series – Waud hopes to capitalise with his strongest Walton team yet (on paper!).
Hedges has picked 3 rookies in a Royal Cinque Ports team that is otherwise littered with Wedge experience – as he hopes to make the biggest comeback since Lazarus.
With 12 players gunning it out on each side for their respective captains, over 36 holes of foursomes on the two famous heathland tracks at Walton Heath, Surrey – surely another epic match on the golf course awaits us before the Wedgers head into town donning the famous green and purple tie to tear up one of London’s finest ‘hotspots’ – Fez Club in Putney.
Until 8.45 on Saturday morning Wedgers – where we are set to make more glorious Wedge Trophy history.
